Multiple Prints Per Page Matted Albums

CLASSIC ALBUM Our top of the line custom library bound album feature only the very best in materials and handling, since 1952. Each album is fabricated by hand, allowing for every photograph to acquire the personal attention required for a custom fit into the album. Every photograph is lined in gold, silver, black or white producing a distinctive look when viewed from a close position. The extra thick pages can be gilded in black, gold or silver to individualize your album. The inserts are permanently sewn into the cover. No metal edging on the insert pages. Preferred mat color is black, with pearl and grey offered as well.		Leather cover color choice are many. The Standard Leather cover has natural leather lines that can withstand family viewing. For a more refined leather choose Top Grain or NAPA Leather. All black albums most popular.
Not as many mat choices as Zookbinders. Price is determined by number of prints in album. Prints need 1/4" free clearance on all four sides for trimming.
FLUSH ALBUMS

Prints must be sent to us untrimmed. We number them to Classic Album (CA) exact specifications. Back of prints must be clean from pen/sharpie markings, etc. OK for lab imprint. All other personal notations must be cleaned off. If prints are received with such markings, we will have to clean the back of the prints with PEC 12, an archival cleaning solution. It does not remove ink from writing pens. A cleaning charge of $25.00/hour will be charged.

Number prints on back with page number with a 6B pencil obtained from art supply store or use 3M Post-it Notes using #2 pencil or fine point sharpie. No ink pens period. TELL YOUR PHOTOGRAPHERS BEFORE ORDERING PRINTS.

Once all this is done , the prints are then forwarded to CA for permanent mounting in your album. The prints are sprayed with water based protective clear lacquer to seal the prints from damage.

NOTE: It is best if you have access to your negatives in case a print gets damaged in handling/mounting, so that a reprint can be made. This only occurs once a year.
