What the Art Leather Mat Installation Photo (above) is missing: The prints have to be secured somehow to the album so they don't slide around under the window cutouts!

Two methods are practical.

Method 1: Most Simple. Buy HermaFix Acid Free Tape. It is on our order form ( roll of 1,000 double stick tape = best on market ). Position prints under window. Slide print to one side and stick two squares for small prints and up to four for 8x10's on one side only. Slide print carefully over tape not area said area. When you are positive you have it lined up perfectly [check all edges of mat so edge of print is not showing] press down on taped area. Done deal. Print is mounted. The reason to tape one side only is.... you might have to remove the print at a later date {like minutes sometime... and you can do so without ruining the print if you are slow and careful. Do not angle the print to deeply when removing or the print will crease and be ruined! Result of this method. Very fast to mount all prints. Downside: Mat floats above prints causing space. Some do not like the look. This is how Art Leather proposes Photographer's mount prints.

Method 2: Buy Artist Tape ( white acid free 1/2" tape-also on our order form or write in ) and tape print to mats before sliding mat into insert. We can pack instructions with album if you prefer this method. Result of this method: Slower to mount prints, takes two rolls of tape. Upside: Prints easy to change out. Prints are mounted to mat with no gaps between print and mat and looks better in album.
